View patient health info remotely & securely
The Practice Velocity Patient Portal enables patients to view their personal health information and communicate with your practice remotely and securely. Participating patients are given secure user IDs and passwords, enabling them to access the portal to view their personal and private health records, including lab and diagnostic test results, and request refills and follow-up appointments. You, the practice administrator, can decide what information patients can access and all HIPAA-protected information behind the Login screen is secure.
Patient Portal’s self-service features enable patients to:
See and print their chart including test results, patient history and medication lists
Request medication refills
Receive email and text notifications including appointment reminders and account updates
Send and receive private messages from the urgent care providers and staff
Configure Patient Portal to view information in the patient’s preferred format including linking to family member information
Merit-Based Incentive Payment Systems (MIPS)
In order to meet the requirements of the Advancing Care Information category of MIPS, healthcare providers must offer their patients access to a portal to view and/or download their medical information.
