IT Department

This is an exciting and challenging position with a young growing company. Web Application Developer

This position is for a Web Application Developer whose primary function will be to develop, maintain, and support application software that is part of the Practice Velocity system. Practice Velocity develops software and provides services over the internet to customers through out the country.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, Test, and Maintain Practice Velocity software developed in ASP.NET and C#.NET
• Understand table structure/relationships to be able to develop/maintain SQL queries and stored procedures
• Develop, test and maintain SQL Server Stored Procedures
• Debug, root cause and fix issues as they arise
• Provide EDI interface support for Practice Velocity Systems to 3rd party vendor
• Provide application support of Practice Velocity system to users
• Provide 2nd tier support for end customers of Practice Velocity systems
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
• At least one year ASP.NET development experience with C# required
• At least one year of T-SQL in a SQL Server 2005 environment
• Working knowledge of Object Orientated techniques
• Knowledge of database design a plus
• Experience with developing WEB Services with SOAP and XML a plus
• Experience with EDI especially in the health care arena a plus
• MCSD or MCAD certification a plus
