15. I am doing some research on urgent care settings and would appreciate any resources or suggestions for learning the top billing codes in an urgent care setting.
Top billing codes vary based on coding patterns and services offered in each practice. To date, no national survey on this issue has been performed. I can tell you; however, that the number one code set for virtually all urgent care centers is the E/M office codes: 99201-99215.
