53. I was wondering if you could tell me what you expect from you providers as far as number of patients seen per hour per provider. I have always operated on a number between four and six an hour per provider and I was just curious what your standards were. If you could let me know, I would appreciate it.

Our providers generally see from 4-6 patients per hour. In order to encourage increased productivity (and willingness to work solo and work hard), we have implemented a bonus system where providers get a bonus for RVUs over 6 RVU per hour.  There are serious dollars in it for our physicians, and it has been very effective.
