59. How easy is it to get insurance companies to recognize you as a health care organization? I know of an urgent care that had to open without settling contracts with PC or BCBS and then went through the whole reimbursement process. Is there a way to earn contracts without having to render service with no coverage? Also, have you heard of any "franchise" opportunities? Thank you for your time and patience.
Negotiating timely contracts with payors is always a difficult struggle in the startup phase, especially in NYS. Franchising: As far as I am aware, there are not yet any franchisors in the urgent care industry.
