Questions for Dr. Stern

About Your Urgent Care Center

61. I’m writing to you today to inquire about your recent presentation “Blending Occupational Health and Urgent Care” of which I unfortunately was not able to attend.  We own and operate not only a surgical center but also 3 occ med clinics and we have been considering creating exactly what your talk title indicates a model to include Urgent care/convenient care with Occ med.  I am just starting out gathering information and looking to visit clinics that we would like to simulate.  I understand from speaking with UCAOA that you have been very successful developing clinics of this type and would be excited to either attend a presentation if you have any others scheduled or speak with you about some direction on our due diligence and search for potential resources available.  Please let me know if you could assist in anyway. Thank you.

Thanks for contacting us.We now operate 10 mixed-use clinics (~45% occ med) in Illinois and Oklahoma. We would be delighted to host your team for a full-day tour of our urgent care centers. Over 300 urgent care professionals toured our urgent care operations in 2007. During the tour, we outline our entire operation, including:

  • Reception
  • Marketing
  • Site selection
  • Added services
  • Occupational medicine
  • Patient flow
  • Whatever else you wish to review

Our other companies include:

  • Practice Velocity: serving 238 urgent care/occ med clinics in the USA
  • National Med Network: offering various consulting services for urgent care centers.

As we discussed, please do call and schedule a no-cost, no-obligation, all-day visit to our urgent care headquarters (only one hour from O’Hare Airport) or to schedule a phone discussion. Call 888-357-4209, ext 2051 or 2052.
